It’s that time of year again… the April A-to-Z Blogging Challenge is almost upon us. I tried the challenge for the first time last year, and I had a really good time. So, I am back and ready for a second year! Joining last year was a bit of a last minute decision on my part. Last year, my theme was simply “LEGO”. This year, since this is a LEGO blog, I am sticking to that, but I am adding a twist.
My official A-to-Z Challenge theme for 2018 is “LEGO-fied”.
I coming back stronger and more organized. I actually started planning my posts last September. You might be asking yourself what exactly is “LEGO-fied”, and why did it require planning already in September? Well, LEGO-fied refers to taking something real, and recreating it with LEGO. This year, I will specifically be taking movie posters and album covers that have been important to me over the years, and re-making them as LEGO versions. For those who have followed my blog for some time, you have probably seen some of these works that I have done in the past. But, I “mysteriously” stopped posting them last September… now you know why. I have been stockpiling my works for this challenge. It has been really hard to not post these as I have made them, and I am chomping at the bit to share them all with you guys! To give you a taste, I have provided a small gallery of some of the earlier LEGO-fied works that I have already posted. I can’t wait to share all the new ones with you too!!!
Fascinating theme! My kids and grandkids LOVE Lego! Enjoy the challenge! I’m blogging on Improve your Life, Improve your Mind
Thanks! Make sure you hit that LEGO bucket with them sometimes 😃
I remember you from last year, fantastic LEGO projects!
I remember you from last year too! Looking forward to hearing about your travel adventures this year.
What a creative theme. It must have been hard to hold back posts for that long. Can’t wait to see what you have ready to go for the challenge. WeekendsInMaine
Thanks! It was hard, but I think it will be worth it.
